1. What has most inspired and shaped your approach to patient care?
Probably my residency. I trained at a large community hospital in Ohio, but I was surrounded by mentors who were excellent at modeling how to provide excellent care to moms. They really allowed me to develop my own way of taking care of patients.
2. What's your favorite part of your job?
That would definitely be delivering babies.
3. What’s your biggest fear as a patient?
The fear of the unknown. Even as a physician, sometimes you don't always know what's going to happen next.
4. What do you do for stress relief?
I like to hang out with my husband and my cat and maybe watch a show at home or go out to a nice dinner every once in a while.
5. Dogs or cats?
I'm definitely a cat person.
6. Last movie you watched? Thumbs up or down?
The new Superman, and I would give it a thumbs up.
7. Why did you choose to become an OB-GYN?
The field involves a combination of surgery and patient care. And it doesn’t hurt that my mom was a labor and delivery nurse.
