Rachel Thal-Larsen, PA-C

Rachel Thal-Larsen, PA-C, is a plastic surgery PA who works in general plastic surgery and craniofacial surgery.

“I approach working with patients with a mindset that everyone has a different story and their own unique experiences,” she says. “Understanding that is essential to addressing patient concerns and giving the best care.”

Rachel was a competitive soccer and lacrosse player and played club lacrosse at the University of Maryland, where she studied public health science and was a volunteer EMT.

After obtaining her bachelor of science degree, she attended the University of West Virginia School of Medicine for her master of science in PA studies. She worked in Washington, DC, as a trauma and acute care surgery PA before moving to Charlottesville.

Rachel grew up in Potomac, Maryland. In her free time, she likes to camp, hike, kayak, and ski. She also enjoys spending time in the summer with her husband and family in coastal Maine or at Lake Anna.
