Highlights
Meet Orthopedic Surgeon Michael Hadeed, MD
My name is Michael Hadeed and I am an orthopedic surgeon at UVA Health. I do primarily orthopedic trauma surgery. I see any patients that have broken their bones. So if you break your arm, your leg, your pelvis, you'll often find your way to me. People come with an injury or a specific problem and you can figure out what that problem is and then you can actually fix that problem and let people move on with life. When new patients come to see me, they can expect to learn something about the way their body normally works and why it's not working right now. Learn what I know and so we can make a treatment plan together to get them back doing what they like to do. The thing that has inspired my approach to patient care is seeing people back in the office and the clinic, trying to recognize that different patients have different needs and trying to meet them where they are, treat them how they need and want to be treated. I think a patient should come to UVA Health for their orthopedic trauma care because that's what we specialize in. There's several providers here who have trained specifically in orthopedic trauma to try and give you the best outcome and get you back to what you were doing before and we do a very good job of that here.
