Lori Lute, MSN, RN, ACNP, is a nurse practitioner with the Heart and Vascular Center. Her clinical interests include general cardiology and electrophysiology. She has worked in cardiology since 2012.
"I enjoy working with patients and helping them reach their healthcare goals," Lori says. "I partner with patients to provide an individualized plan of care to treat existing cardiac problems and prevent the development of future issues."
Lori grew up in Halifax County. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a master of science in nursing. In addition to her current experience in the clinic setting, she has worked with cardiac patients who are hospitalized, including seeing them before and after procedures.

This was one of a series of long term follow-up pacemaker visits so there was no issue needing discussion.
Lori Lute was excellent: a good listener, explainer and clearly very knowlegable. I would recommend her to everyone.
