Kimia Kashkooli, MD, is a general anesthesiologist with interests in a broad range of areas, including obstetric, pediatric, and regional anesthesia.
She previously did research with a focus in neuro anesthesia.
She is originally from Iran and grew up in Maine, where she earned an undergraduate degree in biological engineering from the University of Maine. She then attended medical school Tufts University.
Dr. Kashkooli and her husband moved to Charlottesville for their residency training at UVA Health in 2020. They are now raising their daughter in the beautiful city of Charlottesville.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, attending concerts, and spending time with her family.
