I left the appointment feeling reassured. Dr. Chung and his staff were amazing. They truly listen to my concerns and explained everything to me in a way that was completely understandable.
Dr. Chung is absolutely one of the best doctors I have ever been to!
Great Experience
My expectation from this visit was to receive more input on making decision for treating high cholesterol levels. Since this was my first visit with Dr. Chung, I expected him to ask more questions and provide guidance. Instead I had to ask questions and guide the conversation. Perhaps it was due to remote nature of the call, but I got an impression that for the absence of pain or other obvious symptoms there was little interest in addressing my concerns. Dr. Chung did express interest in knowing what my latest lipid panel results will be (waiting to receive), and suggested exchanging information when the results are available. That was a positive input, in sense of including me in making decisions, and that I marked as Very Good. Really not enough interaction at this point to either recommend or not recommend Dr. Chung to someone.
This was my 1st visit with Dr. Chung. He was knowledgeable & took the time to answer my questions.
The UVA staff keep up on how I am doing all the time. I live 400 miles one way and I am so happy with the medical people at UVA. I trust all the Dr. & nurses and all the other workers with my life.
