Amy Radigan, MS, PA-C, is a physician assistant at the UVA Hand Center. She specializes in treating problems of the upper extremity, including nerve and tendon injuries, overuse injuries and fractures.

Originally from Texas, Radigan moved frequently growing up. She eventually settled in Virginia, attending James Madison University as an undergraduate and for her physician assistant certification. Radigan was acknowledged as a top performer in 2018 for providing an exceptional patient experience.

Between the time of my last visit & this visit, I've developed nodules in the palm & wrist. Ms Radigan said the ones in my palm are Dupeytren's contracture & nothing can be done until I can lay my hand flat - maybe a compression glove would help. I showed he the one the hand therapist gave me. She had no idea what the red, itchy sometimes painful lump in my wrist was. She may/may not have ordered an ultrasound. How reassuring is that?
