1. What has most inspired and shaped your approach to patient care?
Being on the other side as a patient, whether having my kids in the hospital or being humbled to see myself on the other side as a patient.
2. What's your favorite part of your job?
The people I work with. I've been at this clinic for 10 years, and a lot of the nurses have also been here for 10 years. We helped open the clinic, and we love it. We wouldn't go anywhere else.
3. What’s your biggest fear as a patient?
I really don't like to get my blood pressure checked. It makes me anxious and nervous.
4. What do you do for stress relief?
I like to exercise and I'm active in my church. I have five kids. I don't know if that's stress relief, taking care of them, but hanging out with my family.
5. Dogs or cats?
Dogs. We recently got a new puppy.
6. Last movie you watched? Thumbs up or down?
Oddball. It’s about a Maremma sheepdog. It was two thumbs up because we ended up getting the same kind of dog.
7. Best advice you've ever heard?
To treat others the way you would want to be treated.
