I would recommend UVA simply because it is a research institution. That in itself is assuring.
Good
The intern was fabulous - listened, asked good questions and had a warm presence. Dr Zhu was cooler and not very personable.
The Pain Management team is not what it used to be. Things are rushed, with little time for explaining symptoms and little explanation of the procedure to follow.
Doctor was not familiar with my case. Basically same questions as my first appointment. Seems like there was a basic generic agenda. "You seem functional enough" Not a good comment without understanding the situation.
Very good, couldn't get any better help.
