Bio & Overview
Tappy Gish, MD, is a pathologist who diagnoses diseases.
She was raised on a horse ranch in Laramie, WY, where she spent her early years roping, riding, training horses, and competing in rodeo sports. She initially planned to become a veterinarian. “I found myself drawn to pathology for its unique blend of science and art and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care,” she says.
Dr. Gish studied physiology at the University of Wyoming. She earned her medical degree from the University of Washington and completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Virginia.
