Bio & Overview
Sherra So, WHNP, is a women’s health nurse practitioner. She specializes in:
- Preventive health and routine screenings
- Contraceptive counseling and family planning
- Menstrual and hormonal health
- Perimenopause and menopause care
- STI screening
Her research interests include preventive care delivery models and health literacy and patient education.
“I want my patients to know that I truly care about their concerns and take the time to listen,” she says. “My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where they feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their experiences, and being active participants in their care.”
Sherra received her undergraduate nursing degree from Arizona State University and earned her master of science in nursing, women’s health nurse practitioner degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She has experience working with high-risk obstetric and postpartum patients and managing complex conditions, including obstetric complications and pelvic infections.
