Peter H Ma, MD

Peter Ma, MD, is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist. He specializes in caring for children undergoing surgery, particularly those with a congenital cardiac condition.

Dr. Ma was born and raised in Northern Virginia. After graduating from high school in Arlington, Virginia, he attended medical school at Penn State Hershey College of Medicine.

He completed his residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University, as well as two fellowships at Emory University/Children's Healthcare.

Before joining UVA Health, he was with Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia.
