Bio & Overview
Lindsey Vignali, MD, is an obstetrician/gynecologist. She is passionate about helping women take charge of their bodies and own health through patient education. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know her patients and encouraging them to voice their opinions and concerns so that she can help her patients achieve their goals. She strongly believes in the value of informed decision making and individualized patient care.
Dr. Vignali graduated from The University of Virginia with a degree in accounting. She then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she graduated with honors and met her husband, Jonathan, who works as an internal medicine physician at UVA.
She was drawn to obstetrics and gynecology because she loves delivering babies and being a part of the special moments throughout women’s lives. During residency she realized how much she also loves operating and taking care of gynecologic concerns.
Dr. Vignali worked in private practice in Maryland for two years after completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine. During her time in private practice, she completed additional training in menopause care.
She is passionate about teaching patients, medical students, and residents about the benefits of hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Vignali is particularly interested in helping women navigate periods of transition, whether that be puberty, pregnancy, perimenopause, or menopause. She enjoys the versatility of working in the clinic, the operating room, and labor and delivery.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dachshunds.
