Jana Galuppo, DMSc, MPAM, PA-C, is a physician assistant, who specializes in headache medicine, chemodenervation/Botulinum toxin and neuromuscular diseases.

After completing fellowship training in adult neurology at Centra Health, she joined UVA Health in 2021. At the University of Lynchburg School of Medicine, Jana completed her Master of Physician Assistant Medicine in 2019, followed by her Doctor of Medical Science in 2020. She is passionate about improving the health of the communities she serves, and she is committed to providing high-quality care, while advocating for and advancing the physician assistant profession and educating future PAs. 

Jana is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and American Academy of Neurology.

Jana Galuppo is wonderful! Getting 31 injections (Botox for migraine) isn't fun of course, but she always puts me at ease and makes the process as minimally painful as possible. She is kind, attentive, and always takes the time to answer any questions and/or address any concerns I may have. I really appreciate her and would definitely recommend her to others!
