Bio & Overview
Catherine Bingham, MD, is a pediatric rheumatologist. She is thrilled to be back at UVA after having attended medical school here. She is originally from Houston, Texas and attended Brown University for undergraduate studies. She completed pediatric rheumatology training at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Bingham practiced pediatric rheumatology for over twenty years at Penn State Children’s Hospital and Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital before moving back to Charlottesville. She cares for children with all types of rheumatic diseases and is passionate about quality improvement in healthcare.
In her spare time, Dr. Bingham enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and loves the outdoors, sailing, exercising and traveling.
