Bio & Overview

Bridget Mangan, MSN, is a women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. She provides obstetric care to women throughout pregnancy and childbirth, as well as contraception and primary care at all stages of life.

“I love empowering patients to be active members of their healthcare team,” she says. “One of my favorite parts of my job is the chance I get to see people over their pregnancy and build relationships to help them through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.”

Bridget grew up in south central Pennsylvania, where she was involved in theater and choir. She received her nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After working in cardiology and labor and delivery, she returned to UPenn for her master’s degree from the dual midwifery and women’s health and gender-related nurse practitioner program. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Outside of work, she is an avid reader and baker and enjoys walking, hiking, and entertaining her two cats.
