Highlights
Meet Interventional Cardiologist Bhisham Harchandani, MD
Hi, I'm Bhisham Harchandani. I'm one of the interventional cardiologists here at UVA Health. I'm a cardiologist and an interventional cardiologist and I welcome all heart patients, whether they are patients with shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or any known heart disease. Heart disease is the most common ailment in our society. Cardiology is also a field which has progressed remarkably in the last decade or so and has provided us tools that we can help our patients make a difference in their quality of life and make a difference in their life essentially. UVA has all the excellent resources. It is an excellent teaching institution. It has the ability to do research, provide excellent education and great infrastructure, great hospitals, great equipment, and all the modern tools. But what truly sets us apart is the people around here truly care about their community. They truly care about their patients and they would love to make a difference in the life of their patients. It's our ability to really care about our patient that sets us apart.
