Ben Floyd, AG-ACNP, is an acute care nurse practitioner. He cares for hospitalized patients recovering in the thoracic cardiovascular intensive care unit (TCV ICU).
Ben grew up in East Tennessee. He attended East Tennessee State University, where he earned his BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) degree. For 11 years, he practiced as a hospital bedside nurse, mostly in ICU settings.
After obtaining his AG-ACNP degree at the University of Virginia, he joined the UVA Health TCV ICU team.
