Bio & Overview
Andrea Doss, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) who works in interventional pulmonology.
“I focus on building trust, listening carefully, and involving patients in every step of their care,” she says. “I believe that the best outcomes come from collaboration — empowering patients and their families with education, respecting their values and preferences, and creating a plan of care that aligns with their goals. My background in critical care has shown me how important it is to treat not only the illness but also the individual, and I carry that perspective into every patient encounter.”
She began her nursing career in high-acuity intensive care units, where she gained extensive experience managing complex, critically ill patients. Her practice included advanced airway and ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and evidence-based interventions. These experiences shaped her advanced practice approach, where she emphasizes procedural expertise, innovation, and patient-centered care to improve outcomes for patients with advanced pulmonary conditions.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her wife, son, and eight dogs and running 5K races.
