Bio & Overview
Alex Patton, MPAS, PA-C, is a transplant surgery physician assistant.
Following his graduation from the University of Virginia with a degree in biology, he served in the US Army for four years. He later worked as a firefighter paramedic with the Charlottesville Fire Department and currently volunteers with the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad. He went on to earn his masters of physician assistant studies degree from James Madison University.
Before joining UVA Health, he worked as a physician assistant at a critical access hospital and mobile health clinic in southern Virginia.
