To help expand access to care, two Harrisonburg-area UVA Health pediatrics clinics are merging and moving to a larger location this fall with expanded hours.

Pediatrics Harrisonburg and Pediatrics Harrisonburg McGaheysville will come together at 4165 Quarles Court in Harrisonburg on Aug. 31.

“We are excited to combine these two clinics and bring them to a modern, newly renovated facility that is designed to be patient-friendly, accessible and thoughtfully expanded to support the growing demand for care and enhance the patient experience, demonstrating our commitment to providing pediatric and specialty care to the community,” said Becky Compton, DNP, FNP-BC, MBA, UVA Physicians Group’s chief operating officer.

“This investment reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional pediatric care close to home. By bringing our providers together in one location, we can better serve children and families through coordinated, compassionate care while also growing the resources we provide to the community,” said UVA Health pediatrician Jon R. Tomei, MD.

In addition to pediatric care, adult and pediatric hand therapy services will be available at the combined clinic. All providers currently seeing patients at the two existing clinics will continue to care for patients at the newly combined location.
