I was very pleased with the doctors consultation. I left knowing exactly what the treatments would be and I also left with information about my MRI scans. The doctor informed me in great detail about my condition and even explained what the diagnosis was. I was very enlightened by the conversation and for the first time as a patient at UVA. I felt like I was able to understand my diagnosis and have better insight on how to advocate for my treatment. I wish UVA had more doctors and staff like the acupuncture office.
Dr. Gypson is outstanding. Very careful, very thorough, excellent communicator. Good advice.

Doctor is nice and and empathetic but I feel that I am the one who has suggested different things to try for my condition, rather than him suggesting them. Also I have seen him on and off over a period of a few years and I get the impression that he has no idea who I am at each appointment.
