Susan Miller, MD, is a UVA Health physical medicine and rehabilitation physician who focuses on non-operative treatments for spinal issues, including spinal injections. She also treats other musculoskeletal and joint issues.

Miller grew up in Florida and completed her undergraduate degree at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She earned her medical degree and completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship training at UVA.

She and her husband, Sean, have two school-aged children who keep them busy outside of work.

This was a follow up - I asked most of the questions and the appointment was about 5 minutes long. It took longer to drive, park walk in and wait than it did for the appointment. Please don't misunderstand, I like Dr. Miller. I come to her for shots - neck pain and most recently knee pain. She hits the spots perfectly and the results last. That is NOT the case with some other shots I've received from other providers, so she is VERY GOOD at it.

Dr. Miller has always been thorough, professional and very kind. This visit was even more so. She referenced all that i had been through and I could tell that she was genuinely concerned. As always, Dr. Miller listened carefully and came up with a plan of action to address the pain I feel everyday. She offered options in case I don't get much relief from the injection.

DR. MILLER IS WONDERFUL. SHE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND REALLY LISTENS TO ME. SHE HELPS ME TO UNDERSTAND MY ISSUES AND THE VARIOUS APPROACHES THAT CAN BE TAKEN TO MINIMIZE THE PAIN I HAVE. I FIND HER VERY UNDERSTANDING. THANKFUL THAT SHE IS A PROVIDER AT UVA PMR. SHE HAS ASSISTED ME IN REGAINING MY LIFE AGAIN THROUGH CONTROLLING PAIN.
