Bio & Overview
Dr. Williams was born and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. He relocated to the United States with his family in 1990 due to a civil war. Most of his educational years were spent in North Carolina with a brief stay in Cleveland, Ohio to obtain his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University in June 2012. Dr. Williams joined CMA Pediatrics (UVA Pediatrics Culpeper) in August 2012. He looks forward to working with families in Culpeper, and is honored to provide care for children of all ages. Outside of medical practice he enjoys spending time with his wife. He also enjoys working out, cooking and reading.

My name is Doctor Ostranda Williams I'm a pediatrician I currently practice at UVA pediatrics in Culpeper. I really enjoy working with children I enjoy working with young families, just having the opportunity on any given day to see a baby that's two day old all the way up to a teenager who's eighteen and be able to help them to make healthy life choices, life decisions about their health, helping the family through the different stages as their child is growing and developing has been really rewarding for me. When I see a new patient I like to, let the parents know that I see myself as their partner. That they are the experts on their children in terms of knowing all their habits. And my job is really to partner with them to help them to understand what different developmental stages their child may be going through when they come in for a sick visit, what things I need to be hearing from them in terms of symptoms and to help them to understand what the diagnosis is and as a team come up with a solution in treating the child. I appreciate diversity in our patient population that we have here in Culpepper and I think that helps me to be in a better physician.
