Nicole M Thurmond, MD

Nicole Thurmond, MD, is a family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care for people of all ages. She is passionate about preventive care and chronic disease management.

Dr. Thurmond believes in listening, shared decision-making, and working collaboratively with her patients to improve their overall health.

“I want to help people and make them better,” she says. “My family doctor inspired me. I saw close family members deal with health issues, and it sparked my interest in medicine.”

Dr. Thurmond was born and raised in Alexandria and loves taking care of patients in her community.

She received her undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University. She completed her family medicine residency at Houston Methodist Hospital.

In her free time, she enjoys watching Ohio State football, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
