Bio & Overview
Lissette Kinsella, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who provides primary care for a wide range of patients. She considers herself a partner to her patients, and she urges them to question and interact so she can help guide their health and help empower them. Lissette draws great pleasure in helping, educating, and being a liaison for her patients, as their wellbeing is her priority.
Ever since she was a young girl, Lissette wanted to be a nurse. She began her career with an associate degree in nursing. After practicing for several years in a variety of hospital settings, she went back to school for her bachelor's degree. During this time, she recognized the importance of community health and educating patients, as well as the need for providers in the community. She returned to UVA for a master's degree and plans to go back for her Doctor of Nursing Practice.
Her volunteer work includes promoting wellness at community events.
