Bio & Overview
Liisa Field, MS, PA-C is a physician assistant with over 20 years of experience in family medicine, a field she enjoys because of the opportunity it provides to work with patients of all ages. Field cares deeply about the health of the people in her community and is invested in providing thorough, competent and compassionate care. In addition to family medicine, Field also has experience in long-term care, post-acute care and hospice.
Originally from New Hampshire, Field received her master’s degree and physician assistant certification from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1999. She then trained at teaching hospitals in Washington, D.C.; Boston, Massachusetts; and Hartford, Connecticut.
Field returned to Virginia in 2018 and now lives in the greater D.C. area with her husband, three daughters, two dogs and cats. She enjoys spending time with her family, being outside walking, running and hiking, as well as gardening, reading and cooking.
