This was my third or fourth appointment with Laura Hitchcock. I have been incredibly pleased with the quality of her care, advice, communication, and treatment recommendations. I have referred several other patients to her including my wife.

Laura Barton Hitchcock is an excellent PCP. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable but is compassionate as well, which is equally important to me.

First time meeting Laura Hitchcock, NP. She was excellent! I'm thankful to have her as my provider.

I love having Laura as my NP. She listens to me and we work together to figure out how to get me where I need to be. She never rushes and makes me feel seen, respected and worth listening to

Laura Hitchcock trusted that I would only administer Prednisone in case of serious poison ivy to arrest the reaction if needed. We discussed my MRI diagnosis indicating "severe narrowing" in the spinal canal. We discussed my feeling that potentially addressing the situation via surgery may be appropriate in the near-term because simply "managing" the situation for a number of years may put me in a more dangerous situation for surgery at an even more advanced age later. She then agreed to my point, and gave me the neurosurgeon consultation to explore all aspects. Again, listening/advising and trusting patients' reasonable concerns and acknowledging logical reasoning/requests for particular courses of treatment.
