Julia Winegard was very informative and professional. My husband and I enjoyed talking with her and laughing a bit too. Julia has first hand experience with chronic digestive issues and her knowledge and compassion are great. She handled everything to referrals, lab orders etc. So easy to work with UVA.
I was informed of potential tests I would need to take, and brought up to speed on labs I would need to do.
I have had a lot of terrible doctors in my 13 years of Crohn's disease that would tell me how it's going to go... Every time I talk to her I feel like she genuinely cares about people and likes to help them... Always a good connection and a pleasant conversation. She represents UVA in a wonderful way and y'all are blessed to have her there.

PA Winegard was completely familiar with my medical history which was somewhat extensive.
The PA was very helpful and listened to me. When I had a question she didn't know she was quick to ask the doctor she works with and got an answer to me in MyChart within a day and had labs ordered.
