Jagadish Elumalai, MD, FAAP, ABP, is a neonatologist who cares for sick and premature babies.
He is skilled in emergency newborn care, including resuscitation. He manages respiratory distress, infections, and other complex medical issues.
“Every baby is different, and treatments and interventions are tailored to meet the specific needs of each infant,” he says. “My focus includes involving families in caring for their infants and offering support and education.”
Elumalai earned his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College Hospital in Chennai, India. He completed his residency and fellowship at State University of New York at Stony Brook.
