Bio & Overview
Hannah Langdell, MD, is a hand and microvascular plastic surgeon. She diagnoses and treats fractures, sports injuries, and common upper extremity conditions, including carpal tunnel, trigger finger, tendonitis, Dupuytren’s, and arthritis. She also performs nerve and soft tissue reconstruction.
“I aim to treat every patient the way I would want a member of my own family to be treated. That means listening carefully to patients’ concerns, taking the time to understand what matters most to each person, and making sure they understand their diagnosis and treatment options,” she says. “I believe the best care is a partnership, and my goal is for my patients to feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the decisions we make together.”
Dr. Langdell was born and raised in Richmond and studied neuroscience at Duke University. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Duke and a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the Curtis National Hand Center in Baltimore.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, and traveling with her husband and two children.
