Eric Young, PA-C, is a radiology and medical imaging physician assistant with expertise in fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures.

“I strive to explain things in as clear and simple a way as possible, to answer all questions honestly and completely, and to put my patients at ease with a joke and a calm presence,” he says. “I remember that patients are going through something difficult and offer them compassion and care.”

Young grew up in Richmond and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. He is a retired U.S. Naval Reserve officer. After returning to Charlottesville, he worked as an emergency medical service pilot for UVA’s Pegasus helicopter. He went on to earn his masters of clinical medicine science with physician assistant certificate from Barry University in Miami.
