Bio & Overview
Liz Rabin, MS, CCC-A, FAAA, has been a clinical audiologist at UVA since 1999. Her clinical focus is:
- Vestibular and balance disorders
- Aural rehabilitation (hearing aids)
- Tinnitus Diagnostics
Ms. Rabin has been a certified and licensed audiologist for more than 35 years.
She shares, “Each patient is evaluated extensively. I view everyone as an individual and take their specific needs into account. It is important that all of my test results are reviewed thoroughly so each patient leaves their appointment fully understanding the results and recommendations.”
Ms. Rabin has held a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology for over 35 years. She has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology since 1990, and a member of the American Auditory Society since 1988. For the past 10 years, she’s been serving as a hearing aid examiner with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ms. Rabin earned her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Florida in 1984 and her master’s degree in audiology from the University of Arizona in 1987.
