Donald Ferrell is a family nurse practitioner who cares for patients needing urgent care. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal injuries, laceration repair, and respiratory and cardiac emergencies.
Donald has more than 33 years of critical care experience, working in a variety of settings, from Level 1 trauma centers to county hospitals. Over the course of his long career, he has served as a travel nurse, worked on the neonatal transport team, in the ICU, and in the ER.
When asked about his approach to patient care, Donald says, “Listen to the patient and they will tell you how to help them. I may not always know the answer, but I will do my best to find the correct answer for them.”
