Connie Roberts, RN, MSN, is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Surgery, specializing in treating patients needing colon or rectal surgery. A native of Staunton, Virginia, Ms. Roberts graduated from Eastern Mennonite University and received her master’s in nursing from James Madison University. She initially joined UVA in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and returned in 2013 to work in general surgery. Ms. Roberts has three children, a Saint Bernard and three cats. In her spare time, she volunteers at an animal shelter and enjoys travel, running and reading.

I had a very good experience with the NP and Dr and felt comfortable (during a very uncomfortable health experience) the entire time (aside from the anal exam but that was necessary).

Connie Roberts is AMAZING!!!! I wish every provider was just like her. She was a great listener and responded in a way that showed she heard you. She was so compassionate and friendly and conversational and put you at ease. And knowledgeable! I learned a lot! I could just go on and on about her, haha. I wish she knew every type of medical area and could be my specialist for every single issue, haha.
