Connie Roberts, RN, MSN, is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Surgery, specializing in treating patients needing colon or rectal surgery. A native of Staunton, Virginia, Ms. Roberts graduated from Eastern Mennonite University and received her master’s in nursing from James Madison University. She initially joined UVA in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and returned in 2013 to work in general surgery. Ms. Roberts has three children, a Saint Bernard and three cats. In her spare time, she volunteers at an animal shelter and enjoys travel, running and reading.

I confessed the provider because I told her problems that occurred from last procedure. I didn't let her know what is happening now.

Connie Roberts was outstanding, this was the most thorough exam I have ever had for this problem. Her explanation about ever step during the exam and what was to come was outstanding. She is the kind of care provider that would make you feel at ease about returning for these types of issues as she was very knowledgeable.

NP isnt the only person that Ive seen in the bldg however from now on she will be the one that I will go to for guidance, I trust hey judgment.
