Outpatient Laboratory Services Prince William Medical Center

UVA Health Outpatient Laboratory Services Prince William Medical Center offers outpatient phlebotomy services on a walk-in, first-come, first-served basis.

Services include venipuncture, urine collection, and drop-off of home collection specimens.

All lab patients must be registered in the Medical Center Epic Patient Access system on the date of service. A written or electronic lab order signed by an authorized provider and applicable diagnosis codes are required for specimen collection. Oral requests for laboratory testing cannot be accepted unless accompanied by a written order (fax copies accepted) or electronic request.

Services are based on staffing availability and technical capabilities. Patients needing accommodations or additional services are encouraged to notify staff in advance.

After-hours lab appointments are available for non-emergency urgent needs, including repeat testing or time-sensitive collections.
