Clinical Trials | A Phase 2, Open-label Study of VS-7375, an Oral KRAS G12D (ON/OFF) Inhibitor, in Patients with Previously Treated, Advanced KRAS G12D-Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (TARGET-D 202)
A Phase 2, Open-label Study of VS-7375, an Oral KRAS G12D (ON/OFF) Inhibitor, in Patients with Previously Treated, Advanced KRAS G12D-Mutated Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (TARGET-D 202)
The University of Virginia Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks participants ages 18 and over with advanced KRAS G12D mutated non-small cell lung cancer that has received prior treatment with a platinum-based chemotherapy regimen and an immune checkpoint inhibitor in the advanced, metastatic setting. The purpose of this study is to see if the investigational drug VS-7375 will slow down the growth of your cancer. In this study, you will take the study drug VS-7375 as a tablet by mouth daily within 30 minutes after a meal. Study visits will be scheduled as follows: All Cycles of VS-7375 will last 28 days (4 weeks): • Cycle 1: You will have visits on Days 1, 8, 15 • Cycle 2 and beyond: You will have visits on Day 1 Side effects that occur due to the study drug may range from minor to life threatening. If you have any side effects during your participation in this study, you should let your study doctor know right away. You may or may not benefit as a result of your participation in this study. However, this study may also help doctors learn things that can help other people in the future. You will continue to receive the study drug as long as you are getting a benefit. The amount of time you remain on study treatment depends on how well your cancer responds and how well you are able to tolerate any side effects that you may experience. A safety follow-up visit will be done at 30 days following the last dose of study drugs. This may be done via an in-person study visit or phone call. You will also be contacted by the study site staff every 3 months for up to 2 years and asked how you are doing and to see if you started any new medicine for your cancer. This can be done over the telephone.
