Clinical Trials | A Phase 3, Randomized, Open-label, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Sacituzumab Tirumotecan (MK-2870) in Combination With Pembrolizumab With or Without Bevacizumab Compared With Standard of Care as Firstline Maintenance Treatment for Participants With Persistent, Recurrent, or Newly Diagnosed Metastatic Cervical Cancer With PD-L1 CPS Greater Than or Equal to 1

A Phase 3, Randomized, Open-label, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Sacituzumab Tirumotecan (MK-2870) in Combination With Pembrolizumab With or Without Bevacizumab Compared With Standard of Care as Firstline Maintenance Treatment for Participants With Persistent, Recurrent, or Newly Diagnosed Metastatic Cervical Cancer With PD-L1 CPS Greater Than or Equal to 1(TroFuse-036/GOG-3123/ENGOT-cx22)

The University of Virginia seeks women age 18 years and older to participate in a maintenance clinical trial. You may be eligible for this study if you have persistent, recurrent, or newly diagnosed metastatic cervical cancer and are completing, or will complete, 6 cycles of standard of care first-line induction therapy for your cervical cancer. The goal of this study is to test the safety and tolerability of an investigational medication called sac-TMT with pembrolizumab and bevacizumab together. It also aims to see if people live longer or stay cancer-free longer with this treatment compared to the standard treatment. This study is a 2-part study. If you participate in Part 1, you may receive sac-TMT every two weeks with pembrolizumab every six weeks and bevacizumab every three weeks. If you participate in part 2, you will be randomized (assigned by chance) to one of two treatment arms and may either receive sac-TMT plus pembrolizumab, or you will receive a standard of care treatment (pembrolizumab, with or without Bevacizumab). This study will include: tumor tissue sample, blood draws, tumor imaging assessments, and physical examinations. Study-related procedures that are being done beyond your standard of care will be provided at no cost to you or your insurance More information can be found here: https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT07216703
