Bio & Overview
Anubhav Kumar, MD, is a clinical neurologist who sees patients admitted to the hospital as well as those in the clinic and dialysis unit. He treats people with chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure, high levels of acid in the blood, and other kidney-related conditions.
Kumar earned his medical degree from St. George’s University and completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Stony Brook. He completed his nephrology and ultrasound fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania.
His work includes integrating point-of-care ultrasound to provide rapid insights into patient fluid status, kidney health, and other relevant information. His interests also include developing comprehensive curricula for nephrology and point-of-care ultrasound.
